Jane is my border collie, born approx. Sept 30th, 2009. I rescued her from the Los Cabos Humane Society in Mexico, June 2010. In December 2010, I flew her to Louisiana with me. Though I miss taking her to the beach every day, I know she loves running around 3 acres and jumping in the rivers. In the year I've had her, she's learned about 40 commands.

River is my mother's pitt bull/American Staffordshire Terrier mix rescue. She found him when he was a skinny stray puppy during July 2010. River is scared of the geese and rain. He loves Jane, thinks he is a lap dog, and he is an excellent running companion because he runs at a very steady pace.
Duke and Spruce Goose are our African geese, who were born Spring 2011. They like to boss the chickens out of the way during feeding time, charge River, attempt to charge Jane (who doesn't take to being bossed around), and they are our official welcoming and leaving committee.
